Animals Start Roaming The Cities While People Quarantine Themselves At Home

While the internet is ridden with depressing tales of the stories of those who have tested positive for COVID-19, we can find some joy and perhaps even a laugh or two through how animals are capitalizing on newly barren streets and roads.

Many animals are hilariously capitalizing on the government’s calls for social distancing and self quarantining across major U.S. cities.

In Japan, deers have taken over the popular tourist attraction Nara Park.

At any given time, security cameras have captured groups of 10-15 deer roaming the park, completely and wonderfully unaware of the crisis that the world is in.

In Thailand, you can see monkeys swarming the streets and running down roads.

Italy is under a very strict lockdown policy, so there are sheep and horses roaming the streets minding their own business! There have also been wild boars spotted (as seen below)

These animals are a great source of joy and laughter during these tough times.

While we may be responding to calls for social distancing and quarantine, we can watch these beautiful animals roam the streets as if they are truly their own.
